Rachel Kishore has a background in finance, technology, food, nutrition, and women’s empowerment. After earning her undergraduate degree in Food & Nutritional Sciences, she began work at a nutrition biotech startup before transiting into FinTech.

Over the last six years, Rachel’s work in finance has focused on advocacy for women. She was chosen as a Yahoo Finance HERoes Top 100 Women Future Leaders and featured on the Nasdaq Tower on International Women's Day. In 2022, Rachel participated in Republic’s venture program as a Venture Associate wherein she researched female-founded food & beverage startups.

Outside of work, Rachel is passionate about engaging in consumer and women’s entrepreneurship networks. She is the Founder of Empowered Economy, a community to celebrate & elevate women in food. Her mission is to empower female founders to reach customers, enter retail & secure funding.
