Empowered Economy is a community for female food founders, leaders, and innovators. My mission is to empower women to launch businesses, enter retail, reach customers, and secure funding.

I do this by working with women 1:1 to understand their needs and goals and connect them with the right resources and opportunities that will help them grow their startups from concept to kitchen to grocery cart.

Specifically, I help founders:

• Connect with investors

• Explore funding opportunities

• Meet high-traffic retail partners

• Stock products at co-working spaces

• Sample and sell products at fairs and markets

• Feature products at dinner parties

• Receive product feedback

• Announce product launches

Through mentorship and networking, I partner with organizations throughout the industry to:

• Host events

• Organize giveaways

• Find female panelists and speakers

• Create product gift guides

• Collaborate with female-founded brands

• Offer discount codes for products and services

I began this community on International Women's Day in 2023 and the name Empowered Economy is based on my thesis about the power of women supporting each other and the potential of collaboration between female consumers, entrepreneurs, and investors . Read more on that here.
