Face to FaceTime Mentoring Initiative
Face to FaceTime is a mentoring initiative I began this year. After I celebrated my first year of working as a UX designer, I realized I should dedicate more time to mentoring young women in the UX research and design industry.
Using the Hexagon UX and Ladies the UX Slack channels as my outreach, I began responding to women who posted about desiring mentorship and advice. The response was extremely positive!
Currently, there are 10 young women from around the world that I host calls and videos with, while also messaging via Slack and email. It is exceptionally rewarding for me to speak with these women and empower the next generation of designers. This is Face to FaceTime - Mentoring Young Women Around the World.
